Soldiers’ glory as brilliant as the full moon---Greetings and appreciation conveyed to the Red Army

     China International Cultural Communication Center held Mid-autumn reception at Beijing marking the 63rd National Day and Chinese traditional festival Mid-autumn and expressing greetings and appreciation to the Red Army soldiers on 29th September. Representatives of the Red Army Wang Dingguo attend the reception. Member of the 17th Central Committee, Vice-chairman of the CICCC General Sun Dafa attended and addressed the event.

      Mid-autumn is a traditional occasion for family reunion, and a unique occasion to promote national unity and worldly harmony. 63 years ago, the People’s Republic of China was founded and since then the country matched towards prosperity. Over the last 63 years, under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, our great mother country achieved unprecedentedly in its economic growth and social transformation. All these accomplishments would not be possible without great sacrifices and painstaking efforts made by veteran revolutionaries. We should forever remember their contributions.

       Party Group Secretary and Executive Chairman of CICCC Mr. Long Yuxiang conveyed greeting and appreciation to the old soldiers of the Red Army on behalf of the CICCC. He also expressed deep gratitude to long term support and assistance to the CICCC by friends of various circles. He said that this year CICCC has put into effort the spirit and policy raised by the 17th Session of the Sixth Plenary Session, taking on shoulder the task of promoting Chinese culture an international one and enhancing China’s influence as a culturally responsible global power. CICCC carried out cultural exchanges and communications with nations and bodies such as the United States, US, DPRK, Korea, Japan, Azerbaijan as well as India, organizing successfully the “Spotlight on Chinese Ink Painting 2012 Chinese Calligraphy and Ink Painting Art Exhibition” “2012 Sound of Harmony Artistic Performance” and other activities, contributing reasonably on the spread of Chinese excellent culture, the enhancement of friendship between Chinese people and people of other nations. Meanwhile, CICCC acts according to the theme of the time, organizes actively many and various cultural exchanges and communications, charity events, army-supporting activities and so on, playing a positive role in the building up of a harmonious society and in the match towards an all-round comfortable life for the people. Committees and liaison offices led by CICCC all participate actively in cultural integration and promotion of different regions. They take full advantage of the resources of CICCC; contribute hugely to the promotion of China’s soft power, to the forging of a regional cultural brand, to the development of cultural industry as well as to China’s rise as an international power.

       Artists from army and civil bodies made their performance at the event. Member of the 17th Central Committee, Deputy Director of the Urban & Agriculture Committee of the NPC General Fu Tinggui, Head of the Central Committee of the CPC History Research Institute of Long Xinmin, Standing Committee member of the National Political Consultative Conference, Vice-chairman of the Revolutionary Committee of Guomindang Central Committee Zheng Jianbang, Chairman of the Chinese Ink Stone Culture Development Association and concurrently the honorable chairman of the China International Public Relations Association Mr. Liu Hongjun, Director of the Western Development Promotion Committee Wang Zhizhong, Secretary-general of CICCC Dai Shugao, Art Director Zhang Zhongyin, Sheng Hetai and other personage attended the reception.
